Welcome to The Center for Glenwood, our new state-of-the-art welcome and administrative building designed to serve Glenwood members and the Houston community. It is our hope that The Center will serve as a peaceful sanctuary for our Glenwood families, and a place to learn about the many notable Houstonians and historical figures interred here at Glenwood.
A Look Inside.
The Center for Glenwood is a unique space that combines modern architecture with natural elements. The high ceiling windows throughout The Center offers a beautiful view of the grounds and Ravine from almost every room and gives the feeling of being among the treetops. Glenwood has always been committed to making families a top priority, and now through The Center, we can provide a Gathering Space to celebrate the life of a loved one and expand our reach through new hosting opportunities. The new Archive Room within The Center will offer overseen access to archival treasures for research and educational purposes. We are excited to share this beautiful welcome space with the City of Houston and hope that it will be a peaceful sanctuary for all those that visit Glenwood.

Office Hours
The Glenwood office is located on the cemetery grounds and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed on holidays.
Tours
Take a stroll through our historic and scenic cemetery. Retreat from the city when you embark on a private or guided walking tour of our beautiful 88-acre garden cemetery. Take in the ornate statuaries and abundant wildlife and horticulture, all while learning about Houston’s history and the stories of our notable interred.

Archive Room
The Archive Room will be a dedicated space to access Glenwood’s archives for research and educational purposes, engage the community through programming and other offerings, and advance and promote Glenwood’s historical significance. It is our hope that public access to these treasures will result in a wider study, understanding and appreciation of the men and women who built our great city and state.
